When
you search through maps you will find names such as Fragokastelo,
Fragokastello en Frangokastelo. They all trick us into a wrong
pronunciation of the place where we are at the moment
: FRANGOKASTELLO.
ARTEMIS lies directly at the childfriendly beach and next to the
Venetian ruins. At 10 minutes walking distance you will find one
of the most beautiful beaches of Crete.
The amusement here exists of the many small taverna´s, the lovely
encounters with the Sfakians and the tourists that keep coming back.
Hospitality here goes without saying.
The apartments exist of a room, a separate bathroom and a balcony.
We could have called them studio as well. In the apartment
you will find a refrigerator with freezing compartment, hot-plate for
cooking water, forks, knives and spoons, cups and glasses. We even
thought off washing-up liquid (!). Every third day you will get clean
sheets and towels and the apartment will be cleaned.
Most apartments have seaside view. The other, cooler, apartments offer
you a view to our beautiful mountains. Let us know what you prefer and
we will do our best to deliver.
